Slope stability evaluation method using fc displacement measuring

Conventional slope stability evaluations set the safety factor based on previous experience because calculations referring to actual displacement measurements were not possible.
However, slope stability evaluations based on displacement is now vital as we enter an era of heightened importance of (infrastructure) maintenance (particularly in Japan, with maturing of national infrastructure).

Shamen-net.com has developed a method which estimate the safety factor of the slope in time series by FEM (finite element method) from the displacement measurements.
