Outline of Services

  • Real-time GPS displacement measurement of ground/slope manegment/structure during construction work
  • 24-hours monitoring service at the Monitoring Centre
  • The monitoring system is not affected by the weather and remains fully operable even at night
  • The costs of using civil engineering GPS measurering and connection service are low
  • The compact, lightweight GPS equipment is easy and effortless to install
  • No need to purchase any software or computer
  • A fixed monthly cost system enables monitoring even for short period
  • Real-time measurment data can be checked for 24 hours via the Internet / mobile phone
  • Our own original error-processing allows for highly-accurate, three-dimensional measurements within a millimeter
  • Download or print out measurement results with a single click
  • The provision of rainfall prediction and other information relating to rainfall helps make decisions on precautionary evacuation

Cutting/embankment work

Sensors can be installed for addition or replacement the cutting/embankment work progresses. Real-time measurement/monitoring of displacement using GPS ensures safety during the work.

e.g.)
* Displacement measurement during cutting work(Displacement caused by Landslide/stress release)
* Displacement measurement during embankment work (Landslide, displacement/ heaving of toe of slope)
* Surface displacement of banking or surrounding ground (Measurement of subsidence/pull subsidence

Tunnel entrance

Real-time displacement measurement/monitoring by GPS around the entrance of the tunnel ensures safety during construction work.

e.g.)
* Displacement measurement of the slope of tunnel entrance
* Displacement measurement of the ground immediately above the tunnel
* Measurement of structures close to the tunnel (Subsidence/Building tilt)

Landfill works

Displacement due to ground surface subsidence or pull subsidence/distortion of the surrounding ground during landfill works is also measured/monitored in real time using GPS.

e.g.)
* Measurement of subsidence/disturbance in surface of filling soil
* Measurement of disturbance in retaining structures
* Measurement of variations in nearby ground or structures (Subsidence/disturbance, building tilt)

Adjacent construction works (Railway)

Track displacement accompanying adjacent construction works can be measured/monitored in real time through the installation of sensors on the railway embankment or on an elevated road/railway. Sensors can also be used to measure/monitor Landslide slopes alongside the railway track.

e.g.)
* Displacement measurement of railway embankment
* Displacement measurement of elevated road/railway
* Measurement of Landslide alongside the railway track

Adjacent construction works (Tunnel)

When construction work is being carried out on a tunnel that has only a thin covering of earth, the impact on the ground surface/buildings can be measured/monitored in real time. If sensors are installed at the four corners of a building, it is possible to measure not only horizontal and vertical displacement, but also building tilt.

e.g.)
* Measurement of ground displacement directly above the tunnel (Subsidence/sloping)
* Measurement of structures in the neighbourhood of the tunnel (Subsidence/building tilt)

Adjacent construction works (Excavation)

During excavation work, the impact on the ground surface/neighbouring buildings can be measured in real time. If sensors are installed at the four corners of a building, it is possible to measure building tilt.

eg)
* Measurement of peripheral ground displacement
* Measurement of neighboring structures (Subsidence/building tilt)
* Measurement of lift/subsidence of intermediate shaft
